In 2012 I expatriated to Switzerland, far from my family and friends. It was a challenging time, as I faced my biggest fear: loneliness. During that year, I had to learn to cope with being on my own.

No more family dinner, friends gathering.

Interestingly, I've just realized now I had actually moved to my "Uranus line", a place known for instability and a lack of a sense of home. But good for...Astrology. This was the year I encountered Astrology for the "first" time, booking a random class at the door of a random teacher. Listening to her explaining the whole zodiac story...
It felt overwhelming, confusing and my interest gradually faded.

Then in 2019, a significant transit occurred: Uranus was right on my natal Moon in the 10th house. This sparked a new beginning for me. Just out-of-the-blue, I decided to create my own astrology software. I wanted to input millions of birth coordinates of thousands of people, along with their life events, to analyze this incredible amount of data and learn astrology by doing. I wanted to replicate Solar Fire my own way in order to make my astro research.

Six months later, my system was up and running. Not long after, I discovered the existence of the concept of Timelines - aka Zodiacal Releasing techniques, with Chris Brennan. This kind of Astrology that resonated much more with my Taurus Moon - Ancient Astrology. Unlike modern astrology, which often focuses on psychological interpretations, Ancient Astrology emphasizes timing and concrete events.

​This approach aligned perfectly with my data-driven mindset and allowed me to code these concepts into my tool. The timeline allows people to see the peaks in their life. And mine was just a copy-paste of my unique career journey, changing jobs, changing countries, redirecting my studies and finally, quitting all to focus on my Astro passion.
​
It was a revelation to realize that my career in data science had uniquely prepared me for this journey into Astrology. I began spending countless days and nights exploring how techniques like profections, zodiacal releasing, eclipses, and transits manifested in millions of charts. The more I learned, the more everything made sense.
​
I wanted to share this knowledge and passion with others, to create a space where people could grow and learn by practicing astrology in a joyful, hands-on way.
That's how Astrolearn was born.​
